Michael Derken

Michael Derken is a seasoned financial executive with extensive experience in payroll and financial services. Currently serving as Senior Director of Carrier Global Payroll at Carrier Corporation since August 2019, Michael oversees both US and international payroll, payroll tax, and global mobility payroll activities. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Associate Director of Global Financial Services at United Technologies from November 2016 to August 2019, and served as Director of HR Financial Services at Diageo from February 1999 to April 2016. Michael's career began as a Financial Analyst at Olin Corporation, where employment lasted from September 1992 to January 1999. Michael holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Connecticut and dual bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
