Ernest Chew

Ernest Chew serves as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer at CARRO since 2020, while also holding positions as Director at myTukar and Chairman of the Board of Directors at GFS Technology Sdn Bhd. Additionally, Ernest is a Board Director at PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Rent (MPM Rent) since June 2022. Previously, from 2005 to 2019, Ernest led HSBC’s Capital Goods and Automotive investment banking coverage across Asia-Pacific and has extensive investment banking experience in London, New York, and Hong Kong. Ernest Chew holds a Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a First Class BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
