Griffin Capece

Griffin Capece is a dedicated aerospace engineering student at the University of Notre Dame, expected to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering in 2026. From August 2021 to August 2023, Griffin worked as a team member at Chick-fil-A Restaurants, where valuable skills in customer service and restaurant operations were developed, along with the recognition received through the Remarkable Futures Leadership Scholarship in 2022 and 2023. Currently, Griffin serves as a Mechanical Engineering and Product Development Intern at Carson Optical, Inc., focusing on product design using CAD software and collaboration within cross-functional teams. In addition, Griffin is involved in research within the Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering department at Notre Dame, working on aerodynamics projects, and has taken on roles as a Summer Community Assistant and Engineering Office Assistant, facilitating student engagement and support within the engineering program.
