Dipti Berar is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance and legal advisory roles. Currently serving as Senior Compliance Officer at Carta since April 2022, Dipti previously held positions such as Senior Advisor at Export Development Canada and Senior Associate at KPMG US, where critical contributions included enhancing compliance programs and risk assessments. The legal background is further solidified by roles as Corporate Counsel at Encore Capital Group, where compliance audits and regulatory examination preparations were pivotal, as well as various attorney positions at notable law firms. Dipti holds a J.D. from Cooley Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Utah, complemented by studies at the University of Cambridge.
