Greg Carter

Greg Carter, CFA, serves as the Director of Strategic Finance at Carta, focusing on the APAC and European business units since September 2022. Prior to this role, Greg was the Chief Financial Officer at Capdesk from November 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included building the finance, people, and analytics teams, as well as closing a Series A funding round and leading the acquisition by Carta. Greg also founded Growth Street, serving as Chief Executive Officer from October 2014 to July 2020. Earlier career experiences include working as an Associate at Arts Alliance Ventures and holding roles in New Ventures and as a Commercial Graduate at Betfair. Greg Carter holds a BA in Psychology and Physiology from the University of Oxford, attended Ampleforth College from 1999 to 2004.
