Scott Tessem

Scott Tessem is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in corporate financial management. Currently serving as Corporate Controller at Carta since September 2018, Scott has previously held multiple roles at the company, including Accounting Director and Assistant Controller. Prior to that, Scott spent over seven years at Domo, Inc., advancing to Accounting Manager, where responsibilities included implementing Netsuite, managing financial audits, and overseeing revenue recognition under ASC 606. Scott also has experience from DirectPointe, where duties involved monitoring fixed asset purchases and assisting in software implementation. Scott holds an MBA in Finance-Accounting from the University of Utah and a BS in Accounting from Utah Valley University.
