Simon Tang

Simon Tang currently serves as the Head of US Sales for Carta LP Portfolio Analytics, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Simon was the Director and Head of the US at Accelex from May 2022 to September 2025, focusing on innovation and insights for growth through advanced technology in alternative investment portfolios. Simon's extensive experience includes over nine years at CEPRES as a Director, where engagement with LPs and GPs addressed investment management challenges in private markets. Additional roles include Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank, Investment Manager at Sal. Oppenheim Private Equity Partners GmbH, and Investment Analyst at VCM Capital Management GmbH. Early in Simon's career, military service was completed in the United States Navy. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
