William Craine

William Craine, CPA, currently serves as the Manager, Fund Controller for Venture Capital at Carta since November 2022. Prior to this role, William worked as the Manager of Private Equity Fund Accounting at Apex Group Ltd from December 2021 to October 2022, a position held under the company's former name, Sanne. William's extensive experience in audit and fund management spans several years at Berdon LLP, where positions ranged from Audit Assistant to Senior Manager from December 2013 to December 2021. William holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management.
