Daniel Bedinger has worked in the field of biophysics and antibody therapeutics since 2000. Daniel began their career at Abgenix, where they worked as a Research Associate and discovered fully human monoclonal antibodies by hybridoma technologies. Daniel then moved to diaDexus in 2002 as a Research Associate II, where they assisted in starting and optimizing a monoclonal Ab group and performed cell-cell fusions and extensive antibody characterization. In 2003, they joined Sagres Discovery as a Senior Research Associate and was a founding member of the hybridoma group, designing and implementing a monoclonal Ab generation and characterization platform. In 2004, they moved to Xoma (US) LLC as a Senior Scientist, working as a member and lead for the Molecular Interactions and Biophysics group within Preclinical drug discovery. Daniel provided analytical support for discovery, screening, and engineering of antibody therapeutics and worked extensively with SPR and solution based affinity and kinetic approaches on most commercially available platforms. In 2017, they joined Carterra as an Application Science Team Lead.

Daniel Bedinger received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2000. Daniel then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology from the University of California, Davis, which they completed in 2014.
