Sten Kaeding has worked in the field of mechanical engineering since 2011. Sten began as a Production and Test Engineering Intern at BioTek Instruments in 2011, then transitioned to a Manufacturing Engineer in 2013, where they lead research and development of project aimed at automating assembly processes. Sten also was responsible for all mechanical design work as well as project group organization and scheduling. In 2015, they moved to Nova Biomedical as a Mechanical R&D Engineer. In 2016, they joined Sanvita Medical Corporation as a Mechanical R&D Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they began working at Carterra as a Mechanical Engineer. In addition to their engineering roles, they have also worked as a Ski Instructor at Stowe Mountain Resort, where they lead instructor of group ski lessons and created lessons specific to each individual class.
Sten Kaeding completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering from the University of Vermont between 2008-2012. Sten then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University between 2014-2015.
