Erick de Moura

Erick de Moura has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Erick is the Co-Founder of Cartesi, a company that is developing an operating system for dApps. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer and tech lead at Arizona Bay, specializing in fintech, healthtech, and e-commerce. Erick also had experience as an Engineer and Team Lead at WebRadar, where they managed software development processes and tools. Additionally, Erick has held positions in software design and development at M4U, WiNGS Telecom, View Engenharia e Automação Ltda, Tecgraf / PUC-Rio, and K2 Sistemas. Recently, they became an Expert at the EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum.

Erick de Moura completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro between 1995 and 2000. In addition, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UCLA during 1997 and 1998.
