Isaac Perper has a diverse range of work experience in research, entrepreneurship, and internships. Isaac is currently a Co-Founder of Cartesian since February 2022. Prior to Cartesian, they worked as a Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at MIT Media Lab from September 2020 to September 2021. During this time, they conducted research on RFID localization techniques and developed a sensor fusion system for robotic applications. Isaac was also a Co-Founder of Cata Cooling from March 2020 to December 2021, where they focused on entrepreneurship in the cooling industry.
Isaac also has experience as a Research Assistant at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) from June 2018 to May 2020. Their main project involved improving the camera system of an autonomous surface vehicle and developing a Geo-location based object identification system. Isaac worked as a Research Intern at Ford Motor Company in the summer of 2019, where they developed a project for testing features in a simulated environment. Additionally, they were a Software Intern at Vecna Robotics in January 2019, where they updated a robotics software stack.
Furthermore, Isaac has entrepreneurial experience as a Co-Founder of Astral Automation from February 2018 to August 2018. Isaac worked on developing a solution for medical delivery in areas with limited transportation using drones. Isaac also served as the Treasurer of MIT Rocket Team from June 2017 to June 2018, where they managed team budget, purchasing, and accounting. Isaac was previously an intern at Augmenta Bioworks in the summer of 2017 and a Research Assistant at MIT Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering from February 2017 to May 2017.

Isaac Perper attended Redwood High School from 2012 to 2016, where they received their high school diploma. From 2016 to 2020, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), majoring in Mechanical Engineering and earning a Bachelor's Degree. Additionally, during their time at MIT, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, which they completed in 2020. Recently, in 2020 and 2021, Isaac Perper furthered their education at MIT by completing a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
