Jesse Hätönen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the electricity and energy sector. Currently serving as Project Director at Caruna since March 2014, Jesse leads the AMM 2.0 program to implement 760,000 second-generation smart electricity meters. Previously, Jesse held various leadership roles at Caruna, including Head of Network Data, overseeing the new centralized data department, and Head of ICT Service Management, managing critical systems. Jesse has also worked as Automation Manager, focusing on remotely controlled substations, and as a System Manager on advanced DMS system projects. Prior to Caruna, Jesse contributed to the governance and development of SCADA and DMS systems at Fortum and gained valuable experience at E.ON and Espoon Sähkö. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
