Brian Townsend

Brian Townsend has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Brian currently holds the position of Sr. Director Marketing & Business Development at Carus since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Commercial Director, North America at INEOS Composites from September 2019 to October 2022. Before that, Brian worked at Ashland Performance Materials in multiple roles, including Director, North America Sales; Strategic Planning & Sales Director; Director, Strategic Planning; and Director, North America Customer Support between 2012 and 2019. Additionally, they worked at Ashland Water Technologies as a Corporate Account Manager from April 2010 to May 2012 and as a District Sales Manager from June 2006 to April 2010. Earlier in their career, Brian held positions at Hercules as an Area Manager, Site Manager, and Account Manager from 2000 to 2006. Brian also worked at Weyerhaeuser as a Production Supervisor and Process Engineer from 1996 to 2000.

Brian Townsend earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pulp and Paper Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Brian attended the university from 1991 to 1996.
