Sergio Jimenez

Sergio Jimenez is a Senior Engineer I in DevOps at Carvana, with a career that began in November 2017. Over the years, Sergio has made significant contributions to improving developer quality of life and automating Azure Pipeline management for seamless production deployments. Additionally, Sergio led an initiative to enhance security through just-in-time read access management for Azure resources. Prior to this role, Sergio held several engineering and application support positions at Carvana, where responsibilities included enriching the development lifecycle and troubleshooting web applications. Sergio's early career included roles at TRANSITIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED and a National Science Foundation research assistantship at Arizona State University, where a team project focused on IoT devices. Sergio holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Computing, a minor in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and several additional qualifications from Arizona State University and Glendale Community College.
