John Eckels

John Eckels has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. John started their career at Columbia Gas Distribution Companies as a Sr Regulator Analyst, where they provided support for asset accounting in an IBM VM / CMS Mainframe environment. John then joined TDCI as a Software Specialist, working as an SAP R/3 consultant and also on a Visual Basic application for tracking commercial properties. John then moved to Borden Foods, where they served as a Lead SAP Developer, specializing in areas such as order processing, billing, and interface development. John implemented SAP R/3 and automated the EDI DECA military order processing. Next, they joined Abbott Laboratories as a Sr Systems Analyst, playing key roles in three divisional implementations of the SD and MM modules of SAP. John handled various tasks such as analysis, project estimation, technical and functional design, ABAP/4 and EDI development, quality assurance, and support. John also contributed to the development standards and interface strategy. Currently, John is working at Chemical Abstracts Service as a Senior Systems Engineer, part of a 6-person SAP ECC team. John performs all levels of production support, enhancements, and project implementations.
