Mark Milam

Mark Milam has extensive experience in the field of computer operations and IT support. Mark started their career in 1987 as a Computer Operator at Big Lots Stores, Inc, where they eventually became the Data Center Supervisor, responsible for managing the daily operation of the primary and secondary Data Centers. Mark also supervised a team of nine and provided 24/7 on-call support.

After working at Big Lots for almost 19 years, Mark joined Cardinal Health as a Computer Operator, where they were responsible for performing computer operations in a large AS/400, Wintel, and UNIX data center setting. Mark monitored the performance of servers, networks, and communication devices.

Later, Mark worked at Pacer An XPO Logistics Company as the Manager of the SAP Basis Team and the Manager of IT iSeries Operations. Mark supervised a team of five, managed the daily operations of the primary Data Center, and provided 24/7 on-call support.

Mark also gained experience at SysMind LLC - Wipro, Wipro Limited, and Randstad Technologies US as a Computer Operator and Senior Administrator. Their responsibilities included monitoring and reporting server hardware issues, job abends, server patching, backups, and the physical environment of data centers.

Most recently, Mark worked at CAS as an Operations Analyst, where they leveraged event management systems to monitor and maintain the availability and functionality of the computing environment's systems, network, and applications. Mark also assisted in the creation and adoption of incident management procedures and effectively communicated with IT support staff and users.

Mark Milam obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, such as "Building the Next Generation of Cybersecurity Professionals," "Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making," and "Amazon EC2 Fundamentals." Mark has also acquired certifications in fields like IT and project management.
