Mike Patterson

Mike Patterson has over 30 years of experience in software engineering. Mike started their career at Eaton Corporation in 1985, where they worked as a Principal Software Engineer. During their time there, they were involved in the design and development of Electronic Operator Interface products used in Factory Automation. Mike also served as a System Architect and Team Lead, as well as a mentor for junior engineers. Mike worked on various hosting platforms, including Motorola 68000/68020 running a Unix-like embedded RTOS (OS9) and Intel x86 running Windows (XP, XPe, and CE). In 2009, they joined Fast Switch as a Software Engineer before moving on to CAS in 2010, where they currently work as a Senior Software Engineer.

Mike Patterson attended the Ohio Institute of Technology from 1971 to 1972, where they studied Electrical Technology. Mike did not obtain a degree during this period. In terms of additional certifications, Mike obtained the following: "Building Trust" and "The Key to Good Communication: Your Audience" from LinkedIn in January 2021, as well as "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence" and "Leading with Intelligent Disobedience" from LinkedIn in November 2019.
