Nate Patrick

UX Manager at CAS

Nate Patrick has had a diverse work experience starting in 2012. Nate worked as an Information Scientist at CAS from 2012 to 2018, during which they developed expertise in scientific discovery tools. From 2018 to 2019, Nate served as a Product Designer at CAS, honing their skills in designing user-centered products. Nate then moved on to become the Lead Product Designer for CAS SciFinderⁿ and Retrosynthesis from 2019 to 2022. In this role, Nate played a key role in shaping the vision, strategy, and user experience of the SciFinder Discovery Platform.

In 2020, Nate joined DAYBASE as a Product Designer, where they led the foundation, planning, execution, and delivery of the Daybase mobile app. Nate also took charge of digital product research and established best practices for product development.

Lastly, Nate worked as an Editor at CLOG from 2016 to 2022.

Nate Patrick's education history begins in 2007 when they enrolled in Ohio Dominican University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Nate successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2011.

In 2020, Nate Patrick continued their education at Cornell University, enrolling in the Product Management Certificate Program. This program focused on Industrial and Product Design and lasted until 2021.

Additionally, in March 2021, Nate Patrick obtained the Certified Product Manager (CPM) certification from Cornell University.
