Scott Painter

Senior Director, Facilities Operations at CAS

Scott Painter's work experience includes roles at various companies. Scott began their career at Ameritech in 1986, where they worked as a Manager and Project Manager overseeing accounts and implementing projects worth an average of $50M per year. Scott also supervised a team of assistant managers.

Painter then moved on to CompuServe in 1996, where they served as a Manager of Network Management Systems. In this role, they managed a team of engineers responsible for the enterprise management of CompuServe's worldwide network. Scott also implemented and project managed HP OpenView NMS and supported the Network Control Center and network customers.

In 1997, Painter joined Applied Innovation as the Director of Customer Service. Scott reported to the VP of Customer Service and SVP of Sales. At Applied Innovation, they played a key role in telecommunications manufacturing, specifically in network management solutions for communications providers.

In 2003, Painter joined Cardinal Health as the Director of Data Center Operations. Scott reported to the VP of Infrastructure Services and oversaw the company's enterprise data centers. Scott also sponsored the data center consolidation program.

Finally, in 2011, Painter joined Chemical Abstracts Service as the Director of Facilities Operations. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing the facilities operations of a 55-acre campus with 3 buildings and over 400,000 square feet of office space.

Throughout their career, Painter has gained extensive experience in facilities operations, data center operations, network management, customer service, and project management.

Scott Painter obtained a High School Diploma in College Prep from Willard High School in 1982. Scott then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University from 1982 to 1986. Next, they pursued an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 1986 to 1989. Finally, they completed their academic journey by acquiring a Master of Science degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University from 1992 to 1993.
