Computer Aided Services was established in 1986 as a service-house engaged in Desktop Publishing, support of computers and other office automation equipment. 
CAS was established in 1989 to cater the evolving IT industry focusing on computer products and services 
In 1994 CAS partnered with HP and then Compaq. Today it is Platinum partner of HP Enterprise system and service one certified support center for HP in Nepal. 
Since 1994, CAS started to explore new opportunities in the field of Information Communication Technology and started to focus on providing Integrated Networked Solutions in Nepal. 

In 1994 itself CAS partner with for APC products and services. 
In 1996, CAS established a sister concern focusing on Internet & communications Services through CCSL (ISP) in communication industry. 
CAS became the Business Alliance Partner of Infosys Technologies Ltd., India, for its enterprise banking solution, BANCS2000, now known as FINACLE. Till date CAS has implemented and providing services to seven commercial banks in Nepal. 
In 1997, CAS was one of the pioneers to develop and offer Customized Software Solutions, again a fresh initiative. 
In 2002, CAS set up Web Services department for web design, development and hosting to cater to demanding internet customers. 
In 2004, a separate entity was formed CAS Techno Sales Pvt. Ltd. focusing on Enterprise Business of CAS 
In 2005 – 2008 CAS partnered with Cisco, Avaya, Avaya Global Solutions, Boxlight Corporation, Grisoft and Lacie among its list of partners to become a leading ICT company in Nepal. CAS started to strategies as System Integrator and Managed Service Provider in the market. 
By 2009 CAS was already working as SI and Support service provider in Telecommunication, BFSI, INGO and government industries with various Software Solutions, Communication and Media Solution, IVR, Integrated hardware and networking, project management and delivery, and L1/L2 support services.
