Derek Goldstein

Derek Goldstein is the CEO and founder of Casaplex, a position they have held since October 2012. Prior to this, they worked as an IT Specialist for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality from January 2002 to October 2012. From October 1998 to June 2002, Derek was an independent consultant and web entrepreneur, during which time they consulted for, developed, and maintained several e-commerce sites. Sales of all the sites they helped start or consulted for exceeded $10M. Finally, from May 1996 to October 1997, Derek was a cofounder and developer at WallStreetSports, Inc., where they helped create the first fantasy sports stock simulation on the internet.

Derek Goldstein completed a computer science degree at the University of Maryland. Derek then pursued a sustainable systems degree at Sterling College. Finally, they completed the Stanford University Latino Entrepeneur Leaders Program at Stanford University.
