Mathieu Roberge is a seasoned technical expert with over 21 years of experience at Cascades, currently serving as Technical Expert Director. Roberge oversees technical development for multiple manufacturing units across Canada and the US, focusing on products and processes in polystyrene foam, rigid plastics, flexible films, and moulded cellulose. Previous roles include R&D Manager, where Roberge launched over 30 new products that significantly boosted sales, and R&D Chemist, providing technical support across various divisions. Prior to Cascades, Roberge owned a web design company and served as a Technical Advisor overseeing hazardous waste collection programs. Roberge holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Modelling/Plastics and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Université Laval.
