Matthias Eckstein

Matthias Eckstein serves as the Software Development Group Leader at CASINATION since November 2021, managing design control and overseeing Agile project management for the CAS-One IR software, which involves implementation, testing, and clinical application insights. Previously, Matthias worked as a Software Engineer at the same company, contributing to an AI-supported tumor treatment system. Early experiences include internships at AGT International in computer vision, VITAS.ai in software development and NLU, and a frontend development role at Funkwerk video systeme GmbH. Prior engineering consultancy at ALTEN GmbH focused on developing test frameworks for Siemens Healthineers. Matthias authored web platforms for quality management systems as a working student at Siemens Healthineers and participated in sensor development at Fraunhofer IIS. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and further education from the same institution, complemented by a semester abroad at RMIT University in Sports Technology.
