Stefan Weber has a diverse work experience spanning various prestigious institutions. Stefan started their career at the University of Southern California as a Fulbright Fellow and Research Assistant in the Robotics Research Lab. Stefan then moved on to Technical University Munich, where they served as the Deputy Director of the Institute for Medical Engineering. Later, they joined the University of Bern, initially as an Assistant Professor for Implantation Technologies and then as a Professor, Chair of Image Guided Therapies. Currently, Stefan Weber holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder at CAScination AG.
Stefan Weber has a strong educational background in engineering and computer science. Stefan received their Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Ilmenau in 1998. Stefan then pursued a Dr.-Ing. degree in Computer Science at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2000 to 2004. Stefan further enriched their knowledge with postdoctoral research in Computer Science and Medical Imaging at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2004 to 2005, and in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich from 2005 to 2008.
