Cascodium
Cameron Sullivan is a Development Engineer at Cascodium since July 2020, contributing to the development of electronic hardware, firmware, and software for various industries. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant in the University of Maine ECE Department for courses in Digital Signal Processing and Electronics I, as well as interning in Cyber Operations at MITRE, where a cybersecurity honeypot and a full-stack web application were developed. Cameron has also held internships in electrical and automation engineering at St. Croix Tissue Inc. and provided tutoring support for microcomputer architecture and differential equations. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering was earned from the University of Maine in 2020, following an education at Old Town High School from 2012 to 2016.

Systems may incorporate low-noise/high-bandwidth analog design, DSP/μC/FPGA digital processing, feedback control loops, sensor interfaces, power conversion, algorithm implementation, and graphical user interface design. Current application areas include bioaerosol detection, remote IR sensing of chemical agents, induction heating, wireless communications, radiation-tolerant space instrumentation, 3D sonar imaging, and high-performance data acquisition.
