Jacob Layton

Jacob Layton has a diverse work experience history. Jacob'smost recent position is as a Software Development Team Lead at Case IQ | Formerly i-Sight, a leading provider of investigative case management software. Prior to that, they were a Software Application Developer at the same company. At Pastini Pastaria, Jacob held multiple roles including Assistant Manager, Server Trainer, and Server/Bartender. Jacob also has experience as a Team Lead and Section Lead at Lambda School. Earlier in their career, they worked at Siemens in the Siemens Wind Technology division. Jacob also has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner and Operator of Jacob's Ice Cream Truck.

Jacob Layton attended BloomTech from 2018 to 2019, where they studied Full Stack Web Development and Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, they attended Portland Community College and studied Microelectronics Technology. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Full-Stack Web Development + Technical Interviewing from Lambda School and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services in May 2020.
