Benjamin Krier has held a variety of roles in the tech and education industries since 2007. Benjamin began their career as a Museum Technician at The Art Institute of Chicago in 2007, followed by a Writer role at 65GRAND in 2009. In 2010, they took on a Teacher and Debate Coach role at Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center. From 2016 to 2018, they held various Freelance Web Developer roles at Mightybytes, Inc., Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, DePaul University, Tanmu Labs LLC, and Upshot. In 2018, they added Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer roles at Casechek to their experience.
Benjamin Krier obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English - Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1999. Benjamin then went on to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing - Fiction from Syracuse University, which they completed in 2006. In 2009, they received a Master of Science in Education from Northwestern University, specializing in Secondary Education - English.
