Stephen Carlin

Stephen Carlin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stephen is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Casechek since April 2023. Prior to this, from March 2022 to April 2023, they worked as an Engineering Manager at the same company.

Stephen has also founded Always Blue Software in July 2021, where they developed Task Trakr, a scheduling and tracking software.

In their previous roles, they served as a Software Engineering Manager at XSELL Technologies from August 2021 to February 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at LogicGate from May 2020 to July 2021.

From 2015 to 2020, Stephen worked at InnerWorkings, initially as a Principal Engineer from February 2015 to March 2016 and later as the Manager of VALO Development from March 2016 to April 2019. Stephen was then promoted to Senior Director of Technology Development and managed a global team of 45+ employees and contractors from April 2019 to April 2020.

Before joining InnerWorkings, they worked at EFI as a Principal Software Engineer from April 2013 to February 2015 and as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2008 to March 2013.

Stephen's career began at Pace Systems, where they worked as a Senior Software Developer from January 2006 to July 2008. Prior to that, they gained initial experience as a Software Developer at Accenture from 2005 to 2006 and as an IT Specialist at IBM from 2004 to 2005.

Stephen'searliest role was as a Software Engineer II at Sprint from 2000 to 2005.

Stephen Carlin attended Campbell High School from 1991 to 1994. After completing high school, they went on to study at Georgia State University from 1994 to 1999. At Georgia State University, Stephen Carlin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification as a JDF Certified Expert from the Print Industries of America in July 2009.
