Steve Kania

Steve Kania has a extensive work experience in technology and product management. Steve is currently working as the SVP of Product and Engineering at Casechek since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President of Engineering & Product at XSELL Technologies from 2021 to 2022, where they utilized artificial intelligence to enhance customer interactions. Steve also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Cappex - now part of EAB from 2017 to 2021, where they led technology and product teams and implemented user testing and market research processes. Earlier in their career, they served as the VP of Product Management and Strategy at SurePayroll, where they launched innovative SaaS payroll services and managed the national insurance agency subsidiary. Additionally, Steve held various technology roles at Pinnacom Solutions Inc., Comdisco, Hollister Incorporated, Ameritech Cellular, Whittman-Hart, and Abbott Laboratories.

Steve Kania completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics at Illinois State University, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Later on, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, specializing in Business. This took place from 2002 to 2006.
