Grant Wilkie started their work experience in 2014 as a Groundskeeper at Milwaukee County Parks where their responsibilities included operating large equipment and mowers for the maintenance of a 312-acre golf course. In 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at Milwaukee Freshwater Institute, UW Milwaukee. Grant then transitioned to the role of Zoo Forester at Milwaukee County Zoo in 2016, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, Grant worked as a Materials Purchasing Coordinator at Harley-Davidson Motor Company for a period of seven months. From 2019 to 2021, they held two positions simultaneously - Account Support Specialist at Earl & Brown and Production Specialist at Foliage Services by Concepts in Green. In 2019, they also took on the role of a Python Programmer at Vince Strategies LLC, where they worked until November 2021. Additionally, in 2021, Grant worked as a Software Engineer Fellow at General Assembly for a brief period. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at CASEpeer Legal Software since November 2021.
Grant Wilkie obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Environmental Studies from Lawrence University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, Grant attended the Field Ecology Workshop at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2016, they participated in the Great Lakes Ecosystem Restoration Field Studies at the Milwaukee Freshwater Institute, UWMilwaukee. Most recently, in 2021, Grant pursued a Software Engineering Immersive program at General Assembly.
