Aliyah Williams is a Senior Intake Clinician at The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) since January 2023, where responsibilities include mentoring colleagues and conducting comprehensive assessments for participants. The mission of CASES is to increase the understanding and use of community sanctions that are fair, affordable, and consistent with public safety. CASES serves nearly 4,000 individuals annually in programs lasting anywhere from one day to more than two years. Their programs are aimed at high-need populations, including young people, adults with mental illness, and chronic misdemeanants who are homeless, drug-addicted, or underemployed.
