Amanda joined CASES in 2020 and has 6 years of organizational development and communications experience in nonprofit organizations. As Director of the Executive Office, she spearheads internal priority projects to build internal capacity and achieve the organization’s strategic goals. Prior to working at CASES, Amanda held positions at the Garden Club of America, Front of House Inc., and Women for Women International, and has volunteered on fundraising boards for Planned Parenthood. She holds a BA in Political Science from Marist College and an MA in Public Policy from The George Washington University, where she was a graduate assistant and researched the philosophic implications of public health initiatives targeting criminalized women, including sex workers and abortion patients.

The mission of CASES is to increase the understanding and use of community sanctions that are fair, affordable, and consistent with public safety. CASES serves nearly 4,000 individuals annually in programs lasting anywhere from one day to more than two years. Their programs are aimed at high-need populations, including young people, adults with mental illness, and chronic misdemeanants who are homeless, drug-addicted, or underemployed.
