Cari Lewis

Cari Lewis, LCSW, currently serves as Team Leader and Clinical Supervisor at The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) since October 2023. Lewis co-founded Us In-Justice LLC in 2021, a social justice initiative set to launch a podcast and website. Previous experience includes roles as Psychotherapist in Private Practice from 2007 to 2015, and Clinical Director at the Center for Justice Innovation between 2003 and 2006, where Lewis supervised a team and facilitated Alternative-to-Incarceration conferences. Additionally, Lewis held senior positions at Housing Works and Global Business Institute, overseeing therapy programs and vocational services. Early career work included roles at Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, supervising interns and providing therapy to clients. Educational credentials include a Master's in Social Work from New York University and a Certificate in Psychodynamic Approaches from the National Institute for the Psychotherapies.
