Joseph Alli, CHES, CASAC 2, CRPA, has extensive experience in substance use treatment and education, currently serving as the Associate Director of the newSTART Program at The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES) since November 2018. Additionally, Joseph is the Founder and COO of Mentors Against Drugs and Guns through Experience and Co-Owner of I Am Phenomenal Unlimited, LLC. Prior roles include Resource Coordinator at CASES and an Internship Trainee at Exodus Transitional Community, Inc. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Health Education and Promotion from Lehman College, a Public Health Fellowship from Bard College, a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and Psychological Well-Being, a CASAC Certificate, and an Associate of Arts degree from Bard College.

The mission of CASES is to increase the understanding and use of community sanctions that are fair, affordable, and consistent with public safety. CASES serves nearly 4,000 individuals annually in programs lasting anywhere from one day to more than two years. Their programs are aimed at high-need populations, including young people, adults with mental illness, and chronic misdemeanants who are homeless, drug-addicted, or underemployed.
