Tai is a human resources and operations management executive with 13 years of nonprofit experience and 6+ years of strategic HR leadership expertise. Tai previously served as Chief of Staff and Director of Human Resources at the Women’s Prison Association & Home, where she determined the vision and strategy for the HR department that aligned with the organization’s mission and goals. She is certified in Motivational Interviewing and as a facilitator in Women’s Risk Needs Assessment (WRNA) and Moving On: A Program for At-Risk Women. Tai holds a membership in the Society for Human Resources Management. She earned her B.A. in Urban Studies from Barnard College at Columbia University.

The mission of CASES is to increase the understanding and use of community sanctions that are fair, affordable, and consistent with public safety. CASES serves nearly 4,000 individuals annually in programs lasting anywhere from one day to more than two years. Their programs are aimed at high-need populations, including young people, adults with mental illness, and chronic misdemeanants who are homeless, drug-addicted, or underemployed.
