Allen Chan

Allen Chan currently serves as the Brand Protection Manager at CASETiFY, starting in December 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Philip Morris International as a Senior Scientist in Product and Technology Intelligence and as a Senior Officer in IP Intelligence from December 2021 to September 2023. Earlier professional experience encompasses positions at Deacons as a Patent Executive, and at the HKU Technology Transfer Office as a Business Development Intern. Allen's career began as a Patent Attorney and Patent Engineer at Barron & Young Intellectual Property. Prior to that, Allen worked as a Biotechnology Specialist at SHUSAKU·YAMAMOTO and as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor from The University of Hong Kong, a Master’s in Human Molecular Genetics from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor's in Microbiology also from Imperial College London.
