Brian Element

Brian Element serves as the Lead Solution Architect and Industry Strategist at CaseWare IDEA since September 2019, having also been a Course Instructor at the company since 2001, delivering courses ranging from introductory to advanced levels. Prior to this, Brian held various roles in financial advisory and analysis, including Financial Advisor at Public Works and Government Services Canada and Analyst at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat. Brian's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Financial Policy Advisor at Citizenship and Immigration Canada and positions in internal auditing and financial/IT auditing at Service Canada and the Office of the Auditor General of Canada, respectively. Brian earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Bishop's University from 1986 to 1989.
