Paul Ormrod is the founder of Cashfac PLC and Cashfac Virtual Bank Technology®, focusing on digital banking for the Unbanked and Vulnerable. Prior to establishing Cashfac, they had a diverse career in banking, capital markets, management consultancy, and audit, advising on business and technology strategies across Europe, Australia, and Singapore. They served as the founding director of Lloyds Bank Stockbrokers and led business planning and trading technology initiatives at Nomura in London. Additionally, Paul has experience in M&A and management consulting at PW (now PWC), specializing in capital markets operations and large-scale IT reviews. In their spare time, Paul is a rugby referee and a member of the London Society of Rugby Union Referees.
