Mike Karanja

Mike Karanja is a seasoned data engineer with a diverse background in data science and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Casper since May 2021, Mike has previously contributed as a Data Scientist at Crop Nutrition Laboratory Services, where significant improvements in agricultural yields were achieved through machine learning models, API development, and data warehouse implementation. Earlier experiences include roles as a Trainee IT Consultant at The Consulting Academy Nairobi, a Software Engineer Intern at Coretec Systems and Solutions, and a Data Science Intern at Power Digital Systems, where projects focused on enhancing internal operations, financial applications, and data visualization. Mike holds a Bachelor of Technology in Microprocessor Technology from the University of Nairobi, attained in 2018.
