Castelo Green is what happens when you bring together two long-term business colleagues to rethink software engineering recruitment. Allen Shaw, a seasoned software engineering exec and Ellie Murphy, a career software engineer recruiter come from both sides of the industry (hiring company and recruiter). We bring a unique perspective to what is often a short-term, transactional experience.

Our philosophy is based on building strong relationships with both clients and candidates to produce long term business value for the clients and better placed, happier candidates.

We deliver a successful 360° recruitment service that enables startups to grow quickly and effectively. We can provide a full service from job definition through onboarding. We can source, screen, administer the recruitment process, support the hiring team, help close and prepare the candidate for onboarding. We will help your hiring team in any way possible to hire successfully.

Our sweet spot is software companies that need to grow quickly but who may not have the in-house support that bigger firms can lean on. If you relate to some of these characteristics, we might be what you are looking for:

you are still small with limited internal support for recruitment - maybe thinking now is the time to hire your first internal recruiter but worried at the cost and commitment
you have struggled to fill certain roles and need an active sourcing approach but aren’t sure how to make this happen cost-effectively
your tech leadership is super-busy and struggling to give hiring the focus they know it needs
your hiring team is inexperienced and looking for ways to improve their process
you’ve lost patience with your current recruiting approach - too slow, expensive, heavy on your time - it is starting to be a drag on the business

Ready to find out more? Talk to us, no obligation. We will share how we have helped clients like you build their teams quickly and efficiently. Let´s do the same for you!
