Mark Smith

Mark Smith currently serves as a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Castings P.L.C. and holds the position of Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Assurance Committee at West Midlands Combined Authority. Mark has been a Non Executive Board Member and Chair of the Risk, Audit and Finance Committee at the Royal Shakespeare Company since November 2016. In 2024, Mark is set to take on the role of High Sheriff in Nomination for the West Midlands. Mark’s extensive career at PwC spans from employee status starting in 1985 to becoming a Partner until 2021. Mark earned a BA in Economics from The University of Manchester between 1982 and 1985.
