Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking
Pamela Michell is an accomplished advocate with extensive experience in addressing issues related to domestic violence, homelessness, and community resource management. Since April 2015, Pamela has served as Policy Chair for the Survivor's Advisory Caucus at the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) while also working as a Survivor/Consultant. Previously, Pamela was an Author, Advocate, Spokesperson, and Fundraiser for SURVIVOR ON A MISSION, raising awareness about domestic violence following a personal experience. Additional roles include Area Manager for CEO Space and Interim Executive Director at LOVE INC, where Pamela managed resources for community needs. Early career experiences as Resource Director at Boys and Girls Clubs of Venice and Grant Specialist at Homeward Bound Inc. strengthened Pamela's skills in resource acquisition and management. Pamela holds an AA in Public Administration from Rio Salado Community College and attended Arizona State University.

The Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) provides life-saving services to survivors of human trafficking, and mobilizes citizens to build a future where modern slavery no longer plagues our communities, our city, or our world. CAST provides comprehensive services to over 350 survivors each year, including: emergency response, case management, shelter, life and job skills training, legal advocacy and peer leadership programming. Through partnerships with healthcare organizations, government benefits agencies, law enforcement and cultural and faith-based community groups, CAST is able to provide support at every phase of a human trafficking survivor's journey to freedom.
