Angelo Melonas

Angelo Melonas has a diverse background in software engineering, currently serving as a Software Engineer in the Identity Team at Castor since October 2020, focusing on creating a unified identity and access management system. Previously, Angelo contributed to the eConsent Team at Castor, engaging in a greenfield project utilizing SCRUM methodology. Prior experience includes working as a Backend Developer at bunq, where contributions included developing payment functionalities and maintaining Public SDKs, while employing a test-driven development approach and continuous integration practices. Angelo's career began as a Junior Software Engineer at a leading telecommunications company, where responsibilities included designing a UI for in-house microservices. Early in the career, a brief tenure as a Security Consultant Intern at MWR InfoSecurity provided insights into website vulnerability resolution. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Stellenbosch University.
