Eugene Datsenko

Eugene Datsenko is currently a web QA engineer at Catalate. Prior to this, they were a data integration QA at NuORDER by Lightspeed from October 2020 to December 2021. There, their responsibilities included testing and supporting data management and ETL solutions, validating data integration with clients' ERPs, setting up integrations and validating data transformation via Visual ETL tool, coordinating testing activities with the team lead and integration consultants, and participating in internal meetings with the team.

Before that, Eugene was a QA analyst at EcoTechWorld Inc. from February 2020 to October 2020. Eugene's responsibilities there included clarifying requirements with stakeholders, preparing of acceptance criteria, conducting meetups with an off-shore team, validating features, and performing confirmation and regression testing.

Eugene has always been interested in technology and how it can be used to streamline processes. Eugene is excited to be a part of Catalate and help contribute to its success.

Eugene Datsenko attended the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Automation and computer-integrated technologies. Eugene also holds certification from ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. - Official Page in Certified Tester, Foundation Level.

They work with Adam Mahon - Sr. Front End Engineer, Tom Herrick - Engineering Consultant, and Christina Dong 🐕 - Principal Platform Engineer. Eugene Datsenko reports to Drew Oliner 🐈, Sr. Director, Engineering.
