Mark Gardella

Vice President, Global Product Development, Consumer Health Division at Catalent

Mark Gardella, R.Ph. has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mark began their career as a Sales Representative at Eli Lilly from 1990 to 1993. Mark then worked as a Consultant and Market Analyst at The Mattson Jack Group from 1995 to 1999.

In 1999, Mark joined Sanofi as an Assistant Director of Business Development. Mark later became the Director of Life Cycle Management, where they developed strategies to extend the commercial life of strategic brands and generated multibillion dollars in revenue. From 2010 to 2012, Mark served as the Director of Business Development at Sanofi.

In 2012, Mark joined Catalent Pharma Solutions as the Global R&D Platform Leader for Consumer Health Softgel. Mark was responsible for the development and management of oral solid and soft dose technologies. Mark later became the Vice President of Global Product Development Consumer Health Softgel and, most recently, the Vice President of Global Product Development for the Consumer Health Division. In these roles, they led teams of scientists and professionals and oversaw product development activities across multiple teams and regions.

Mark Gardella, R.Ph. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Mark further pursued their education at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 1993 to 1995, earning a Master of International Health Management degree, specialized in International business and health care systems.
