Rajesh Shelar

Rajesh Shelar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rajesh began their career at Selectica as a System/Network Administrator, where they provided IT infrastructure and desktop support. Afterward, they joined Intertek as a Regional IT Analyst, responsible for IT operations and support across the Asia Pacific region.

In 2012, Rajesh moved to Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc as the Practice Head ITIL, managing multiple teams and leading global service management initiatives. Rajesh achieved notable success in implementing IT service management processes using ITIL v3.

From 2019 to 2020, Rajesh worked as a Senior Project Manager at HCL Technologies, where they oversaw various projects.

In 2021, Rajesh embarked on entrepreneurial ventures and founded Stridexcel, offering Business Development as a Service (BDaaS). Rajesh simultaneously took up multiple roles at different companies, including Country Manager at Catalogic Software, Board Member and Enterprise Sales Director at Ridgeback Network Defense, ITSM Advisor at Blu Cocoon Digital, and Director of Engagement and Evangelism at CloudCasa (a Catalogic venture).

In 2022, Rajesh joined Ridgeback Network Defense as a Board Member and Enterprise Sales Director. Their main responsibilities included building brand awareness, prospecting, and creating a global market for Ridgeback solutions.

Lastly, in 2021, Rajesh became the ITSM Advisor at Blu Cocoon Digital, an expert in digital transformation, where they aimed to help customers and partners stay competitive in their respective sectors.

Rajesh Shelar completed their Bachelor's degree in 1989 from Abhinav Vidyalaya. During this time, they also obtained their SSC (Schooling) certification from the same institution. From 1989 to 1994, they attended Bharati Vidyapeeth and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Business/Commerce, General. In terms of additional certifications, Rajesh has an ITIL EXPERT certification from EXIN, obtained in December 2013. Rajesh also holds an ISO 20000-1 Lead Auditor certification from IRCA, obtained in February 2012, as well as an ISO 27001:2005 Lead Auditor certification from IRCA, obtained in August 2011. Furthermore, Rajesh is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, having obtained the certification from Microsoft in April 2000. Lastly, they are a Cisco Certified Network Associate, certified by Cisco in July 2000.
