Chris Burgess is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software development and open-source advocacy. Currently serving as a Senior Developer and Open Source Advocate at Catalyst IT Limited since September 2017, Chris has also been an active Committee Member for DrupalSouth since May 2023 and a Contributor to the Drupal Project since October 2006. The career includes roles such as Developer and Consultant with previous positions at Giant Robot, CiviCRM, Fuzion Aotearoa Limited, Parliamentary Services, Resolver, and Ibex Limited. Chris holds an education background from The University of Auckland and Papakura High School, as well as pursuing Te Ara Reo Māori level 2 at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa since 2014.
