David Thompson

David Thompson is an experienced developer currently working at Catalyst IT Limited since October 2014, where responsibilities include developing a range of websites and systems, currently focusing on building student enrolment systems in a secondment role at a university. Prior to this, David served as a Graduate Researcher and Tutor at the University of Canterbury from 2005 to 2019, contributing as a Senior Tutor and guest lecturer, while also programming for the CrisisStudy project. David's career also includes roles as a Game Designer at AIR Steampunk, Software Engineer at e2 media, and Graduate Researcher at HIT Lab NZ, in addition to early experience as a Software Engineer at Alchemy Group (NZ). David holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury, completed in 2014.
