Elin Simes

Elin Simes has worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Catalyst from October 2022 to the present. Prior to that, they worked at KPMG New Zealand, starting as an Audit Associate in October 2012 and progressing through various roles including Assistant Manager, Manager, Senior Manager, and Director. Elin worked at KPMG New Zealand from April 2017 to October 2022. Before joining KPMG New Zealand, they also worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG UK from October 2015 to April 2017.

Elin Simes completed their Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, starting in 2009 and finishing in 2012. Elin went on to pursue further education and became a Chartered Accountant at ICAEW, obtaining their certification in 2015.
